Free Food Pantries

With the rising cost of groceries and everyday essentials, more individuals, families, and seniors throughout Chatham-Kent are struggling to put food on the table.
At FreeHelpCK, we believe that everyone deserves access to food, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Our Free Food Pantry Program provides accessible food and essential items to those experiencing food insecurity. Through the generosity of local donors, businesses, and dedicated volunteers, we work to restock our pantries approximately twice a week, helping ensure food is available when our neighbours need it most.
Whether you’re facing an unexpected financial setback, struggling to stretch your grocery budget, or simply need a little extra support, our pantries are here for you.
How Our Free Food Pantries Work
Our pantries are free to access, with no registration or appointment required.
- Take what you need: We kindly ask visitors to limit themselves to four items per household per visit so more people can benefit.
- Give what you can: Community members are welcome to leave donations of non-perishable food and essential items.
- Available when you need them: Our outdoor pantries provide convenient access to food without the need to request assistance.
Please note that pantry supplies vary depending on donations and availability.

How You Can Help Keep Our Pantries Stocked
Our Free Food Pantry Program relies on the kindness and generosity of individuals, businesses, and organizations throughout Chatham-Kent.
Donate Food & Essentials
Donations of non-perishable food, personal hygiene products, and everyday necessities help us keep our pantry shelves stocked.
Make a Monetary Donation
Financial contributions allow FreeHelpCK to purchase much-needed food and supplies when donations are limited.
Become a Pantry Supporter
Local businesses, organizations, and individuals can make a lasting difference by organizing food drives, sponsoring pantry restocks, or contributing regularly.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps put food on someone’s table.
Need Additional Food Support?
We recognize that a Free Food Pantry may not always provide everything a household needs.
That’s why FreeHelpCK has also created a Chatham-Kent Food Resource Guide, helping individuals, families, and seniors find additional food assistance programs and resources available throughout our community.
If you or someone you know needs additional support, we encourage you to explore the guide.
