Nothing embodies the spirit of giving around the holidays more than FreeHelpCK’s Adopt a Senior program. For the 7th consecutive year, our organization will focus on this upcoming holiday season by accompanying and delivering a festive holiday dinner and gifts to seniors who are alone on Christmas Eve.

Prom & Graduation Project

To ensure that every young person has the chance to celebrate their prom and graduation in style, our community program offers an exclusive shop where youth can select from a range of formal attire at no cost. The shop provides everything needed to create a memorable experience, including dresses, suits, shoes, jewelry, and handbags. By offering these items free of charge, we help to alleviate the financial burden on families and ensure that all students can enjoy their special day without the stress of expenses, making their milestone event truly magical.

Moreover, our commitment extends beyond just providing attire. We host a special day in June where these young individuals are invited to receive full make-up and hair-styling services to complement their chosen outfits. This transformative experience is designed to boost their confidence and joy as they prepare for one of the most memorable events of their adolescence. After their makeover, the youth are escorted to Retro Suites, a local photography studio, where professional photographers capture their transformed looks. These high-quality portraits serve as lasting mementos of their achievement and celebration.

This comprehensive approach ensures that no student feels left out due to financial constraints. By removing the barriers to participating in prom and graduation celebrations, we foster a sense of inclusion and equality among all students. Our program not only enhances their prom and graduation experiences but also instills a sense of pride and self-worth, reinforcing the message that every milestone, no matter the background of those celebrating it, is worth recognizing and celebrating with grandeur.
